Tower defense game with a twist

Tiny Tactics is a premium strategy title for PC coming from developer Tiny Forge Gaming. It is a tower defense game that cleverly incorporates auto chess mechanics into its gameplay. Players will need to consider the enemy's path and place appropriate units to repel them.

Combining gameplay elements from the likes of Rush Royale and Chess Rush, Tiny Tactics manages to offer a unique experience that fans of both genres will find intriguing and enjoy playing. It serves up multiple characters to choose from and maps to go through, as well as various game modes aside from the main campaign.

Beyond defending

In the words of the developers themselves, Tiny Tactics is a love letter to fans of the tower defense games who loved the mazing aspect of their gameplay. In it, you will not only be considering what units to deploy to counter the enemy, but you also need to take heed of the path they take and manipulate it to align with your own ends.

Placing the best units in ideal positions is crucial in two ways. The first is they will serve as makeshift barricades to obstruct the enemy's path. Second, they'll be your immediate line of defense, so their attacks need to be effective. There are more than 100 towers at your disposal with unique abilities and over 20 class upgrades they can take.

With more than 30 enemy types and nearly 100 levels, there is a lot of ground to cover. Once you fight through the main campaign, you can directly jump into Challenge Mode for more action with objective-based missions. While the game has no shortage of variety, the number of units and classes work against its favor. Everything can be a bit too overwhelming at times.

Excessive to a fault

To wrap it up, Tiny Tactics is a fun and interesting entry in the tower defense genre that's not afraid of trying new things out. The result is a compelling experience that combines the strategic aspect with auto-battler combat. The sheer number of units is a bit excessive and could use some trimming down, though. Aside from that, this is worth a play.

    • Mix of tower defense and auto chess gameplay
    • A lot of content to experience
    • Extra Challenge Mode
  • Cons

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
